The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals | Max Loves the Moon
This one-week program included panels, masterclasses, and workshops for an amazing cohort of fifty-one early-career artists. It culminated in a series of plays written, staged, memorized and fully designed within twenty-four hours. Our musical Max Loves the Moon was a whimsical story featuring a protagonist in love with the moon, a space cowboy, and a robot that wants to understand poetry. How else would you want to spend a day?

For the Broadway version of The 24 Hours, I was Assistant Director to Sherri Eden Barber as she staged a touching new play that saw David Krumholtz and Faith Salie embodying two pets on a hilarious enemies-to-friends journey.
